    Hello everyone,

Will some one please help me? I have another blog and have not had so many problems getting things in tact. Now with my new blog, I seem to be running into nothing BUT problems.

I just upgraded from 2.3 to the newest. I really had a lot of trouble. but that is just me. Now I think that I had it and at this point I can not even log in. I get an error. Fatal error: Call to undefined function: require_wp_db() in /home/xpectmor/public_html/XAuto/wp-settings.php on line 206

I have been stuck on this for hours. I think that I keep messin around with files, deleting, moving, etc that I might be causing more difficulty. I have even been studying other fatal error and function on the forums but, no other posts seem to relate to mine.

Can some one please help me. I feel I am loosing my mind now. I think I need to shut down for the night and try again tomorrow.

    Thank you,

    Kami

    Hi

You might want to upload the WP new version files to your server again. Especially when you have been deleting and moving files.

Thank you. I will give it a try. I really hope that it works. Do you think that I need to delete what I have already downloaded?

I did. I uploaded the WP new version to my server again. This is what happened now and this it what error I get.

    Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
    Apache/1.3.37 Server at xpectmoreautomotive.com Port 80

What do I do You All? Please Help!!!

    hi

it appears that 500 errors are often from the .htaccess file, which would be in the root folder of your wordpress install. trying renaming the file and see if that makes any difference.

Thank you so much. I did rename it like you said. Unfortunately, it did not work. I was reading somewhere that sometimes 500 errors are in the software with the host. So I put in a support ticket. I hope that they can help me.

    Thank You for your help.
