Just upgraded to 2.0 – Can’t see posts

    Hey folks…

    I just upgraded to 2.01 and am having some problems. Everything seemed to work fine in the upgrade process, except I can’t see posts anymore. I get the dreaded “no posts matched your criteria.”

    My comments and categories are showing in the control panel and I can login properly, so it can definitely access the database. I’m using the Red Train 1.0 theme, which I initially thought was the problem. But I can switch to either of the two “default” WordPress themes and get the same result. Everything is available except the posts themselves.

    Edit: Oh yes. I’ve cleared my cache and cookies multiple times and have tried two different browsers. No dice.

    When you say “cleared cache” – are you referring to browser cache or to wp’s cache? If you haven’t cleared the wp-content/cache folder, please try that….

    If you have, let us know, and while waiting I’ll go search for other info.

    Well, unfortunately I didn’t find anything that really seemed germane to your situation.

    Other than that, I can only suggest using in google site:www.ads-software.com/support plus search terms, and read through posts with id greater than 50000 or so to see if you come up with anything.

    Bummer. Thanks for looking..

    As additional info, I can post and it shows up in the “Latest Activity” section of the dashboard, but not on the front page.

    I am having this same exact problem. upgraded from 1.5.2 to 2.0.1 and upgrade seemingly went fine. but no posts are displayed. i’ve looked in the database and the posts and comments are there.

    Even the post I made after the upgrade to 2.0 is in there, before I realized there was a problem.

    any help is much appreciated.

    hi moshu, actually i ended up deleting my backed up db and doing a complete fresh install. Now i’m in the process of reimporting the data into the database.

    Not sure how well that will work yet. But if not, then I’ll ask the OP for sure. Thanks.

    fyi, here is what i did to get it working.

    after installing and having problems viewing posts, I backed up the DB again. Emptied the DB, deleted all my wordpress files and reinstalled as if new. Then I imported the backedup 2.0.1 database into the fresh install and everything has picked up perfectly.

    i’m now running 2.0.1.
