just upgraded to WP2 and i dont understand comments

  • i had to include <?php include(ABSPATH . ‘wp-comments.php’); ?> in the loop on my index page in order to show comments before i upgraded….

    wp-comments.php isint included in wp2 and i dont understand what i need to include in my loop in order to get comments to work?

  • You seem to be waaaay behind: wp_comments.php used to be in 1.2 and earlier. Since 1.5 it should be comments.php.
    It also seems you have never used the theme system introduced since WP 1.5.

    Probably it’s time to.

    lol….ive always been using the loop in my own created index page. see https://www.drazin.org

    can i still just use the loop?

    i also just looked, and i dont see comments.php anywhere in the wp2 package?

    what do ineed to bring myself up to speed?
