Just want this plugin to disable sizes

    Hello, for now, I just want to disable the sizes I don’t need. Like here:

    My question: do I need to keep this plugin active so that the sizes I disabled stay disabled? Or once disabled, it stays disabled even if I deactivate the plugin.

    If I need to keep the plug activated, what is the effect on server? We are trying to keep plugin use as little as possible. Never expected to have to use a plugin just to stop WP from making sizes I don’t even need. It really is a bizarre scenario WP has created for its users.

    Hi @polaatx,

    Yes, the plugin needs to be active so that the sizes stay disabled. It’s basically an override to remove those sizes, it you disable my plugin, they will just pop back.

    No worries, if you don’t use any other feature of the plugin, it doesn’t do anything else, performance impacts are really minimal.
