Just What I Needed

I had been searching far-and-wide for a WordPress plugin to create peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns that I could integrate with an events calendar and to sell tickets. Surprisingly there is not a wide selection in this niche.

Charitable, along with the Ambassadors add-on, is exactly what I needed. I had accepted that I probably would not find the events calendar piece and would have to build it myself so I was thrilled to discover that Charitable even integrates with The Events Calendar and Event Tickets Plus, for which I had already purchased licenses.

On top of the plugin being excellent, very customizable and themable, the support is top notch. Wes was emailing me back at midnight answering my, sometimes basic, questions (like when I missed the link to the documentation for Ambassadors on the plugin page due to fatigue).

I was brought in to do triage on a project that was nearly 3 months behind schedule with a rapidly-approaching hard deadline. I estimate that Charitable has done about 80% of my work for me which will make me look good to my client and help my client launch without too much harm done.
