Just what I needed for my project

Wanted to setup a map with several customised markers at several custom locations. This is all to build a map showing good fishing spots off the coast of QLD, Australia. At first, this proved to be a real problem given that when I clicked on “verify address” it kept moving my marker back to the closest residential location and away from the ocean. Manually moving the markers into position proved to be frustrating and lots of time. When I did not click “verify” – no location was shown at all

The plugin author is very good at supporting this plugin. In fact I haven’t come across many plugin authors who are this responsive at all. In the latest update I downloads I can now place the markers in custom areas according to GPS coordinates and I don’t have to click the “verify” button and go through the manual process before!

This is great news. Yes the pro version does come with a lot more features but the free version is more than enough for me. The closest rival to this plugin, WP Google Maps charges you extra (PRO) the moment you want to use custom marker icons and actually put a popup bubble with text and image info – the free version of this plugin doesn’t charge you for this and I am most pleased with it.
