Just what I wanted!
-
I use horizontal lines as breaks in my sometimes lengthy essays. Controlling the length that appears on a viewer’s screen varies so much I sometimes just give up. I just read about your plug-in an article titled “How to Add a Horizontal Line to a WordPress Post or Page” on a WPMU site.
Downloaded into WordPress 4.1 with the Twenty Eleven theme, activated it and it did exactly what I wanted. Line breaks that don’t disappear when I preview the page and no muss/no fuss uniform horizontal lines.
And it works on my WordPress 4.2 site with the Twenty Fifteen theme.
And for those of you who compose in Word or NeoOffice, once Simple Breaks is installed, you can add the simple instructions in your word-processor pages and the plug-in recognizes the instructions. So much easier if you have a lot of formatting that involves copying and pasting breaks and lines.
Thanks! You have saved me countless hours of work and frustration over the next few years . . .
