I am using the plugin for the first time. I have the last WordPress version installed and i am using Enfold theme on a new website that i am constructing.

When Just Writing is activated and i am at Distraction Free Writing Mode, is seems that on a existing page, it saves the text added, because if i exit that mode and go back to it the text is there. However, the added text isn’t published on the live site.

If i start a new page on Distraction Free Writing Mode, she becomes hidden from the “All Pages view”. The “Offline” pages increase a number but when i press it, the page isn’t there. Under the “Settings” (Pages), the page is visible on “lost pages”.

I need the Just Writing to create my pages, because the normal editor is too small.

    Best regards

It sounds like you have another plugin loaded that is interfering with the normal page save process (in a base WP install there is no “lost pages” area).

Do you have any other plugins loaded that alter the edit/save workflow?

    Thanks by the feedback Greg.

I deactivate all my plugins, except Just Writing. No effect. Any text edited and saved under the Just Writing workflow doesn’t appear on the text block (outside Just Writing), isn’t published on the live page. I also tried to create one blog post with Just Writing, but same result.

I identified the “lost pages” as one tool of Advanced Page Manager plugin. It was one another plugin i deactivate to test Just Writing standing alone.

    I can’t identify the problem.

I can’t reproduce the issue on my installs, one of the plugins must have left something behind after you deactivated them that’s causing the issue.

So when you edit a post with Just Writing and save it, then exit Just Writing and then edit the page again with Just Writing the changes are there but if you use the standard post editor they aren’t shown there. Right?

    I explored the issue further.

So, the problem is between Just Writing and the text block editor of the Avia Layout Builder of the Enfold theme. In the default editor, it seems that the problem doesn’t happen.

But personally, i need to use the Avia Layout Builder, because i have other blocks of different contents, like sliders and other elements.

Unfortunately it looks like whatever the Avia Layout Builder is doing is incompatible with Just Writing. I’ll add it to the FAQ for future reference.
