JW Player 6 – shortcodes for self hosted video

I recently updated to JW Player 6 and now a tiny version of my videos display in the top center of a large gray box with two wide vertical bands of different shades of gray below it.

I was using short codes to point to self hosted files outside of the WordPress install. I would also like to be able to use the playlist function for a group of self hosted videos but am having problems finding documentation of how to do this in WordPress.
