K2 comments display text is unmodifiable

    K2 comments display text is unmodifiable. To change the text that reads “0 comments” or ‘# comments” at the bottom of each post previous forum discussions have recommended modifying

    <?php comments_popup_link(‘No Comments ?’, ‘1 Comment ?’, ‘% Comments ?’); ?>

    in any number of relevant php files. However, no instance of this exists in K2, with the only reference being to the pluggable.php file which defaults to this line when no other plugins are installed overriding it.

    Thoughts about the best way to resolve this problem? Should this query be directed elsewhere?
