Kale free version “about me”

  • Hi there.
    I am using a free version of Kale theme on www.ads-software.com.

    I have an ‘about me’ showing on my homepage which appears to point to my posts and I’d like to delete it or at least access it so I can add appropriate information.

    All plugins are updated.
    There is no ‘sidebar-front page’ option in widgets and I cannot find the ‘about me’ section anywhere?

    How can I delete/alter this?

    As you can see, there’s no “About Me” widget, but if you still see it, please empty your browser’s cache.

    Hi there,

    thanks for the response, it may not be a widget but do you see just above the blog post on the left hand side of the screen it says “about me” ?

    that’s what I’m trying to figure out how to access/delete/change.

    Ah, that’s not a widget, thanks for the clarification.

    Please go to Appearance -> Customize -> Blog Feed then scroll down until you see Heading for Blog Feed and simply change that “About Me” that should be in the text box.

    Hello again, I tried your suggestion to no avail, the blog feed reads “recent posts” but still displays “about me”. I’ve also emptied the cache. Any other ideas?
    When I re-arrange the blog appearance to show “featured posts” as a major heading the “about me” section still shows up below with the blog feed beneath.
    Makes me think this HAS to be about the blog feed, but I still can’t figure how to change it.
