Kale theme

I am finding Kale difficult to navigate. I had to switch due to the custom theme I had used photobucket images.

I had a menu bar with page links just below the header image on my previous blog theme. Now it displays the “categories” and I can’t figure out where to change that.

Should I delete all the categories? Should I choose a different theme that is easier to work with?
