Kavana Theme Header

  • Hello everyone,

    I’ve recently updated my site with the Kavana theme. I love the look, but am having a hard time changing the header and footer from saying “KAVANA” to my name “RACHEL BALLARD.” It looks like that section of the header might be an image. If so, how can I change that to insert my name? If I knew the name of the font, I could simply type it out, save as an image, and insert it into the same spot. However, I have a feeling there’s an easier way to do this. I’m relatively new to WordPress and appreciate any and all feedback!

    To change the “KAVANA” logo in the mobile menu, you can use the navigation menu block. Simply click on the navigation menu block and navigate to the panel settings. From there, select the Mobile Menu tab and you’ll find an option to modify the Menu Logo.

    Thank you so much for your help. I still don’t think that I’m getting it. Let me walk you through what I’m doing.

    1. Visit site
    2. I click “Customize” at the top of the home page
    3. I click “Menus”
    4. Then “Main Menu”

    I’ve tried to add a screenshot here to show you, but it won’t let me. So here’s a link. I was able to delete the “KAVANA” logo block from the site and simply replaced it with a header block using my name. Ideally, I’d like to use the same font and style from the “KAVANA” logo to type my name as the logo instead. Would I be running into copyright issues here? Any advice is greatly appreciated!

    Apologies for not providing a detailed explanation earlier. To access it, please follow these steps:

    1. Go to your WordPress Dashboard.
    2. Navigate to Appearance and select Editor.
    3. Once you’re in the Editor, you can refer to this video that demonstrates the steps: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ekohtzxkzler214/change%20mobile%20logo.mov?dl=0.

    Regarding the font, you are free to use the font provided by the theme.

    How can i change the cover image for various categories set to the individual pages for Kavana theme? Currently other than the homepage, all other images are showing the default image of a lady drinking a cup of hot beverage. Pls help, thanks.
