Keep child categories in place

    Hi,

    In better e-commerce sites, when a parent category is chosen from the top menu, the child categories (only) are there waiting in the sidebar.

    The Product Categories widget achieves this with its ‘Only show children of the current category’ setting. BUT.. once you choose a child category to view, all child categories disappear!

    Child categories need to stay in place for browsing. Can this be done with an extension, or code snippet??
