Keep comments without publishing.

  • Is there a way to keep comments without publishing them?

    I want to approve a comment and keep it for future reference, but I don’t want it to appear publicly after the post.

    In the dashboard, I can just leave it in the list of comments without taking any action, but it displays a badge on the Comments tab which I want to get rid of.

  • You can approve it later, when you need the comment appear publicly.

    What is the difference between an unpublished comment and a comment to which no action was taken?

    Nope. You can trash them and keep them in the trash but it’s the trash bin.
