Keep dark mode when browsing

The plugin saves the settings in localStorage so the dark mode should be preserved when navigating pages. Please provide me with the example link where it doesn’t work.

After testing, it works well if “Activate dark mode as default” is disabled. Personally, I need to use this mode because I want my site to be in dark mode by default. Thanks for your help.

Thank you for your response. On your test page, I see the same problem: when I switch to light mode and refresh the page, it switches back to dark mode when it should remain in light mode. Give it a try.

However, on my website, when I deactivate “Activate dark mode as default”, it works perfectly, I can refresh the page and navigate and the selected mode remains.

I see, thanks for the clarification. That’s the purpose of the Activate dark mode as default setting, it forces your site to always load in dark mode even if you navigate or refresh pages. It is more suitable for websites that use a dark scheme as default and don’t intend to switch to light mode.
