Hi, any chance to keep the original file names after conversion? I have a lot of images and the file names are very important.

Hi, but there is no change in filename after conversion.
Only extension will change so cool_image.png will become cool_image.jpg.
Only problem can be, if there is already cool_image.jpg before conversion, then cool_image.png will become cool_image-1.jpg.
Or what’s the problem? Be more specific ??

My filenames are in Hebrew, and I ran the conversion once and it changed the filenames to gibberish.

can you share some link to hebrew png file? I can try it on my installation, maybe it’s because of another plugin, or your hosting, but maybe you’re right and I need to fix something in my plugin… no idea as I never tried different alphabets

    Hello,
this is my upload on clean WP install on my hosting:
    https://wptest.kubiq.sk/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/??????-????-????.jpg
So the name stays same and that means some other plugin you installed is probably doing this, or maybe your hosting settings?
Anyway, everything works for me, so I can not debug anything and there is nothing I can solve. Maybe you can try to create some subdomain clean installation and install only PNG to JPG plugin and if it will do again, that it means it’s your server problem.

    Thanks, I will try that
