I have used this plugin before and never had any issues. I installed on a new site and made a pretty lengthy form (you can see the form here https://megatoyworldsite.com/cash-for-video-games/) when you try to submit this form i keep getting 500 internal server error.

So to test, i made a shorter contact form and that works perfectly fine (just has name, email and subject on it) THat form submits just fine, no errors and i receive it in email.

Anybody know why this is happening and how to fix it? I contacted Godaddy my hosting provider and they said everything looks good on there end.

    Thanks

  • Hello there,

I am thinking this is related to php limitations on your server. There are a few things I would do here:

    1. Make sure your running php 5.4 or better.
    2. Make sure your php limitations are increased such as your timeouts, php process times and max input vars.

You might also check for conflicts, but I do not think that is the issue.

    Thanks,

Current PHP version is showing 5.3 so Im going to update that. Having my PHP limitations increased would that be through godaddy or something i do on my own? Thanks.

Godaddy will likely have to help you, unless you know how to do it. Yeah I’d start with the php version and all. 5.4 is recommended to be used by all new builds of WordPress as well.
