Keep getting an error message when authenticating Twitter

Please try inputing all the 4 keys:
Api key, Api secret
Access token, Access token secret

That way you don’t need to authorize your twitter account. it’s ready to auto post directly. Delete the previously added account and create new one.

Generate all 4 ‘tokens’ that you need, you’ll see everything is explained.
Delete all previously created twitter accounts.
Create new account and enter all 4 ‘tokens’.
Save. You’re done.
No need to authorize interactively, your account is ready to auto post.

I did all that, but now when I go to post on my blog, it’s still not showing up on my Twitter. Does it take a little bit of time to get going or should it be working right away?

It should show up right away. Please make sure that when you add a new post or update an existing in order to test, The checkbox ‘Disbale MicroblogPoster this time’ isn’t checked. Otherwise it won’t cross post.
Also please take a look at the logs tab. If the auto posting was attempted you’ll have a trace either success or failure.

I’m having the same problem. I have all the keys and tokens entered … it asks me to click to authorize … the second time I click it goes to a twitter site that says:

“Whoa there!
There is no request token for this page. That’s the special key we need from applications asking to use your Twitter account. Please go back to the site or application that sent you here and try again; it was probably just a mistake.”

Nevermind – I didn’t have a call back URL.

Silly me.
