Keep getting Database Connection Error every morning…

    For some reason I keep getting this database connection error, every early morning… I recently upgraded my server to a dedicated server and upgraded to WordPress 6.1.

    How can I stop this from appearing?

    Also note, that the username, password and the hostname are correct and the database server is running…

  • You would have to investigate this on the server itself. WordPress can’t seem to access the database service. It is probably not available at that moment. You have to solve this on the database service.

    @competent This sounds really cumbersome! To reiterate, do you mean the DB connection breaks every day, and you fix it manually, right? What steps do you follow to restore it? It could be worth it to ask your new hosting provider for support as well.
