• Tried Ninja forms full on for 4 weeks. Everything was a struggle. As long as you build simple short forms it’s nice and easy, but as soon as you start pushing it you’ll soon notice it’s limitation.

Just the fact that it sends through all fields – even hidden ones – from a conditional formatted page is really not ok.

And the conditional formatting is so poorly built that it is limited to one per page. As soon as you start using more than one all logic disappear, and the forms behaves as it wishes.

Tried contacting their support several times, but always got the same response – Your code is poorly written. Strangely enough our “poorly written” code worked as a charm when switching to Gravity forms!
And what took 4 weeks to nearly get working with ninja forms now took 2 days to complete…

Good morning! I’m Zach, our primary support team member at Ninja Forms. I’m really sorry for the experience that you seem to have had with us. I was likely the support member that you were dealing with, but I have not been able to find an issue matching your name or description in our system at this time. I certainly do not remember telling anyone that their code was poorly written (in fact, we would never tell a customer this without either assisting in fixing their code or pointing them in the right direction), so I am sorry if this somehow came across as my response…it was not at all our intention and entirely contrary to the principles our support is run on.

We certainly recognize that there are some areas that we can improve upon and we are always open to constructive feedback. My personal goal is making sure that all users get a satisfactory support experience as well, so please accept my personal and public apology for not providing that for you. I would love to take a closer look at your issue because there may be some miscommunication in a few areas. For example, there is no limit to the number of conditions that are permitted per page on a multi part form (though adding a significant amount of conditions can certainly slow things down a bit). Multiple conditions on multi part forms are a very common use case for thousands of customers, for example.

I would love to follow up with you further and at least review the support issues you stated that you submitted…at least to use as a use case for how not to handle these in the future…but I am not able to find any support tickets from your name, or purchases/emails associated with the domain that you were working on. We would love to assist or somehow make your experience better in any way that we can. We want to provide for you the level of support that we are known for and make sure that no other users have a similar experience by finding your support issue and using it as a learning opportunity.
