Keep Popup Open when Gravity Forms Submits with Validation Errors

    Hi team,

    Having an issue with our Popup Maker/Gravity Forms integration: when clicking the Submit the popup is closing even if there are validation errors. The page refreshes and then clicking to open the popup again shows the validation errors.

    If there aren’t any validation errors the form is submitting but the popup is still closing, so the success message isn’t showing. I’m guessing this is somehow related to the Gravity Forms linking in with the Popup Maker settings..

  • activate ajax in the form settings.

    @noxgroupau – @saskia Lund is correct, but we do that for you by default. That said this usually indicates a JS error on the page preventing AJAX submission from working correctly OR, you have the same form inserted elsewhere on the page. Gravity forms only supports inserting each form once per page.

    Hey guys,

    thanks for your responses, ajax was enabled but according to Gravity Forms, its not possible to use reCaptcha and Ajax at the same time, have disabled recaptcha and all is working.

    @noxgroupau – Awesome, glad you got it working. Generally you can get away with just the honeypot option for your form in a popup. We have had over 3k submissions over the last year and half and 0 spam.
