Keep sending SPAM emails

  • I installed this plugin, but it didn’t work and then I uninstalled. Now they keeps sending me SPAM emails even though I have requested to unsubscribe me from their mailing list many times.

    Thank you for taking the time to share your honest feedback.

    WP Mail SMTP does not send spam after installation/uninstallation, you’re most likely receiving the WP Mail SMTP newsletter.

    So that we can confirm if we’ve received your unsubscribe request, please let us know when you contact us.

    Also, please note that if you’d like to update your email preferences/unsubscribe, you can do so by clicking on either the “Update subscriptions” or “Unsubscribe” options at the bottom of any of our newsletter emails.

    When doing that, please ensure that yo have selected the option to unsubscribe from all mailing lists.

    Thank you for keeping us posted.

    That certainly is strange. Can you take a screenshot of what appears when you click the “unsubscribe” or “stop emails” link at the bottom of the newsletter (be sure to block your email address)?

    As this is a public review section we can’t request your email address here. Can you please fill out a pre-sale form and send us your email address to see if there is a specific reason why you are still receiving emails? Once we’ve confirmed this we will manually unsubscribe you.
