Hello Everyone, hopefully someone with more experience can guide me. Googled and read but Im a bit confused has to how to go about it..

My theme has various templates created “default, Portfolios, Team etc etc.. when I create a page, I can add sidebar on the page with no problem. My issue is, I have a real estate plugin that creates the detailed page of a property dynamically and I can not edit the page on the backend where I can select the widget sidebar for that page. The theme page comes without a sidebar as you have to activate it when creating the page.

Is there a way I can tell the theme that in the dafault template, the sidebar widget called property details which I created should always be active? If so, do I do this on the functions.php, the theme default template file?…

In short, I need to insert code to make sidebar active on a specific template instead of only showing up when I create page and activate it..

    Thank You
