    Hi,

What changes would you like to make? I’m happy to receive pull requests and update this plugin. I actually check each new version of WordPress and see if there are any issues. I added “unmaintained” because I don’t have the time to read support tickets and fix network related issues etc. But again, I’m happy to look at any pull requests.

    Perfect ??
    Thank you for the information.
    Have a nice day.

    Hi Ella,

I like your plugin, precisely because it is lightweight, so… I’m relieved to learn it’s not that unmaintained ??

    Best regards

Well sad to see this plugin go unmaintained.

If I remove it will my login go back to default?

    Hi Erik,

As the author stated a few postings before this one, she still maintains the plugin, just does not have time to answer a lot of help questions about the plugin.

I seacrched the internet and found that indeed if you disable the plugin, things should just go back to the normal login. I will try this in a test envirement as well to be sure:

    Hide Your Login Page

Malicious parties can attack your login page because they know that a default installation of WordPress can be logged in at https://www.yourwebsite.com/wp-admin/ and at https://www.yourwebsite.com/wp-login.php. Moving the location of your login files makes it very difficult for hackers to perform a brute force attack.

There are good plugin solutions available that allow you to do this easily:

Rename wp-login.php – A multisite friendly plugin that allows you to change your login page. Once activated, the wp-admin directory and wp-login.php page will be inaccessible.
Hide Login+ – Allows you to change name of your login page, admin area, logout page, and forgotten password page.
Lockdown WP Admin – Another useful plugin that can conceal your admin area and login page.
If you forget the new location of your login page and admin area, you can reset everything by simply deactivating the plugin in question. You can do this by renaming the name of the plugin folder contained within /wp-content/plugins/. Alternatively, you could delete the plugin and reinstall it once you have logged back in to your website.

Ok I just tested this plugin and it works like a charme!
Just deactivating the plugin, lets you return to the default wp-admin as well.

    Great!

Thank you for creating this wonderful plugin and for looking at pull requests and all that you do Ella ISeulde Van Dorpe !
This is always the First plugin I install after I install WordPress .

    Hey Ella,

    i hope you update it.

    Thank you

    Hi, TheDragon.
There are several plugins with similar function. Check WP Cerber, for instance.
