• We have a specific product where we have to keep the VAT (courses in the shop’s country, tax law) even if a valid VAT number is entered(or hide the field), how can we do that?
    (we have the pro version)

  • Hi Kapa,

Hope you are well and thank you for contacting us,

The EU/UK VAT Manager for WooCommerce plugin allows you to keep the VAT based on countries.

It also allows you to hide the EU/UK VAT field based on the country or user roles.

But if you want to keep the VAT based on a specific product or hide the VAT field according to the specific product, this feature is unfortunately not available in the current version, I can attach your request to the advanced development team, to consider the possibility of working on such a feature in the future.

Thank you for your patience and time.

    Best regards.

    Hi @kapa330,

Please update the plugin to the latest version v3.0.0, released today. Now you can keep the VAT for specific products, even if a valid VAT number is entered.

    To enable this, just:
Go to All Products > Select Product > Product Data > General > Check the box for Keep VAT for this product.

Please give it a try! If you have any questions, let us know.

    Thank you.

It doesn’t quite work, some time it works as intended and other times it doesn’t. Can’t really see where it’s going wrong.

if a VAT number has been entered and you go back to the shop, all the goods in the shop are displayed without VAT until you remove the VAT number

    Best regards

    @kapa330,

It’s normal for WooCommerce to display shop prices with or without VAT based on your settings. To change this, go to WooCommerce > Tax > Tax Options > Display prices in the shop and choose your preferred option.

Please try it and let us know if it works.

    Thank you.

I know that setting well in Woocommerce, and we show our prices with and without VAT, but that is not the problem.

    The first problem is:
if a VAT number has been entered in checkout and you go back to shop more, all the goods in the shop are displayed without VAT, also the prices with VAT(the prices with and without VAT are the same!) until you remove the VAT number.

    The second problem is:
It doesn’t quite work, some time it works as intended and other times it doesn’t, to keep VAT on the products that are intended (Check the box for Keep VAT for this product.) have tried with only one product in the basket

    Best regards
