Keeping Main Domain Url on Landing Page

Hello There,

Thanks to the plugin developers and for the good job they do.
Here is my question:
Visitors arrive to my site on a static front page with the Url https://domain.com
When I activate Polylang the same page shows up in the default language but the url is changed into domain.com/xxx (the name of the page I set as a frontpage)
So is it possible to keep only domain.com for the landing page when Polylang is working?
