• It worked OK for some time, but now they keep breaking important stuff on my website (frontend design and backend features/menus) with the new updates. And I’m forced to update, because the older versions of the theme doesn’t work with the new WordPress admin/backend. I’m leaving this theme as soon as I have some time to make the migration. I don’t recommend it to anyone.

  • Hi @migueltic,

I’m sorry to hear you are disappointed and we do appreciate your feedback, even though we feel is not a true representation of the theme.

As mentioned in your support thread, there are multiple possible causes that could have interfered on your site, for which we unfortunately don’t have access to check on.

It’s always recommended to keep any theme/plugin updated, because each update brings changes/new things that of course in time, will add up, and in some cases could bring some unwanted changes, when for example, you are using a child theme, to customize things up.

That being said, thank you again you for your feedback and hope you manage to create the perfect site for you.

    Kind regards,

    Rodica

    Hi @migueltic

Thank you for your feedback, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you’ve experienced.

As immediate solutions, you might consider the following:

    • Roll back the theme – you can revert to the version of the theme you were using before to check if this resolves the issue.
    • Restore a backup – you can ask your hosting provider if you have automatic backups enabled in which case you might be able to restore your site to a point before the issues began.

It’s possible that the issues you’re experiencing could be due to a conflict with custom code or another product on your website. Unfortunately, without access to your site, we can’t confirm this, but we’re here to help you troubleshoot.

To address your specific concern, I’d like to assure you that if you’ve set a color or other option to a specific value in the theme settings, it should have the same value even after updating the theme, regardless of how many updates have been released. If this isn’t the case, it may indicate a conflict with another plugin or custom code.

We’d be happy to take a closer look at your site and identify why the colors or other settings aren’t working as expected. If you’re open to it, please share your website URL, and our team will investigate further.

Once again, we’re sorry to hear that recent updates have caused issues on your website, and we’re here to helping you resolve these issues.

We’ve already talked about this. Rolling back is not an option, because the theme version that I was using stopped working with the new WordPress versions (issues with the edit page menus). That’s why I was forced to update the theme. And the latest theme versions (I’ve tried a few) break my design. So now there is no version of this theme that works OK (as it used to work). I was forced to make additional CSS changes to make my web look decent while I search for a different theme that doesn’t break my site. Awful experience…

    Hi @migueltic,

I understand how frustrating this is, and I’m sorry for the trouble you’ve been experiencing with the theme updates.

Since rolling back isn’t an option, I suggest restoring a backup from your hosting provider to create a staging site. This way, you can update your production website back and keep the staging one with the previous version of the theme and WordPress, and we’ll be able to compare the differences to see what elements aren’t properly aligned or don’t inherit the right color and confirm if it’s a theme-related issue or or something else causing the conflict.

    Regards,
