It’s quite annoying to find out the plugin has disabled and is not tracking any stats. It ruins the stats for the whole month. I don’t even get a warning and only noticed by chance when trying to check yesterdays stats. I get this This report is unavailable (621).

Several times I have had to reactivate the tracking in the plugin. Why does this keep happening?

    Hi,

As I told you multiple times during the last few months “This report is unavailable (621)” is not an error! The plugin is displaying this because Google hasn’t finished processing data for the requested interval. You need to simplify wait until the data processing is finished. Since on GA4 the data processing can take up to 24-48 hours, is normal to see that message on Yesterday and Today reports.

To convince yourself here’s Google Analytics 4 data freshness interval.

I really don’t understand why you open threads over and over again and additionaly leave an one star review on this subject.

The 621 is besides the point. The point is that it completely stopped tracking data from the day before. I see a large dip from 3 pm and then nothing has been tracked. I don’t typically see this even though I check every day.

I had to clear authorization and do the whole procedure for it to start tracking again it seems.

That’s simply because the report is partially processed and your are seeing an incomplete report. Only after a maximum of a 48h timeframe a report is 100% for sure processed. The “dip” you see is a sign of an incomplete report not of tracking being stopped. So basically chances are very small for Today and Yesterday timeframe to ever see a complete report, it will almost always have a “dip” on traffic.

That’s how I see them on my website and others too. After about one day, looking at the Last 7 days report for that particular day everything is just fine.

Ok, but this is very hard to get used to and it also seems a bit inconsistent. I’ve been checking every day and not seen this behavior in recent times. Maybe it depends when, during the day, I have been checking. Very confusing.

They should just bring back the old analytics *sigh*.

Well it’s easier to blame it on a plugin :).

Not really blaming anything. It makes sense to come here if you think plugin has stopped tracking. It has indeed happened on several occasions before, even with the old Google Analytics.
