Keeps popping up with the gift dialog (After update the plugin and woocommerce 3

    Everything was working well. I first updated this plugin to version 1.2.0. Then upgraded Woocommerce to 3.0.3. After selecting the gift and adding it to the cart, the dialog to select the gift reappears.

    The error log for this problem is:

    id was called incorrectly. Product properties should not be accessed directly. Backtrace: do_action(‘wp_ajax_wfg_add_gifts’), WP_Hook->do_action, WP_Hook->apply_filters, call_user_func_array, WFG_Frontend->wfg_ajax_add_free_gifts, WFG_Product_Helper::add_free_product_to_cart, WC_Abstract_Legacy_Product->__get, wc_doing_it_wrong. This message was added in version 3.0.

  • Same here. And I have the pro version.

    Tried contacting the plugin author twice now, but I get no answer from him and cant log in to his site to submit a ticket either even after resetting my password.

    Not happy.

    @mkurra I’ve deleted your email and offer to let some stranger log into your site. That’s not allowed here and the author would get into real trouble if they did that.

    @wovawefo The author cannot support you here. They’d get into trouble if they did. For pro or commercial product support please contact the author directly on their site.

    As the author is aware, commercial products are not supported in these forums. As you are their customer I am sure they will have no problem supporting you there.

    @jdembowski I did contact him on the email provided on his site, but there is no answer (as mentioned above). Thought it is good to know for those contemplating buying a pro version…

    I’m now having this issue with the new update to woocommerce with the pro version. The authors site seems to also be broken since I can’t log in for support at all.

    I am runing verson 1.2.9.

    Really need to find a solution to this ASAP.

    Hi all,

    This issue is fixed in new version of the plugin. Note that the issue is only in WC v3+ and you don’t need to upgrade if you are using WC < 3. Check fix commit here.
