• Really awful to see “There was a problem with your site” and get the mail “wordpress caught an error caused by jetpack”.

Took me an hour to remove this crab manually, as /wp-admin/, the recovery-link in the email and EVEN DISABLING ALL PLUGINS IN THE DATABASE didn’t work.

So I removed Jetpack from all my WordPress-Sites

Hey @kbueltemann – It appears the update for Jetpack did not complete properly or there was a plugin conflict that made your site offline. The steps you did to resolve the issue are absolutely correct and you did a good job there.

However, if the issue is resolved now, you can try to install the fresh copy of the Jetpack plugin again and this time it should not create an issue.

Feel free to reach us here if it creates the issue again. We will be happy to help you out!
