Key Activation “looses validation

I have the sending service free edition (not premium). Every few days it seems that they key activation “looses” it’s validation and I have to revalidate. Since I’m not the one sending out the newsletters, my users are contacting me when they have to send out an email asking why it isn’t working.
Is this expected? that I have to re-validate every few days?
