key not working – can’t use widget

    I have a WP blog site I am trying to monetize with amazon in some places. I installed a widget that asks for account security credentials.
    CodeShop Amazon Affiliate plugin.
    I generated a priv/pub code in the AWS system and neither work.
    do the role and user names have to reflect my wp id?

    May be your secret credentials are not registered for amazon products advertising API. This youtube video will help you how to do this. And also this amazon forum topics will let you know more. Hope this will solve your problem, if you want to know more about Getting Started with Product Advertising API then check amazon docs.

    I have sorted the problem of not activating. But I have the same problem as joan627
    when trying to test my API keys just keeps saying test failed it just can not be the API keys it has got to be something wrong with the plugin I am hosting on my own VPS, so things should all be O.K. I will try and make some new keys to see if they work.

    Hello pjlarambla,
    Please follow the youtube video link mentioned in above post how to make activate your API keys and make it work. Also in Forum where it has been discussed several times with this kind of issues so that will also solve your problem.
