Hi, my licence is valid for another year but my WP dashboard says this:

    Notifications
Dec 13 2022 22:18:32: Error occurred while checking account status. cURL error 77:
Dec 14 2022 08:12:15: Error occurred while executing CleanTalk Cron job. SFW UPDATE INIT: KEY_IS_NOT_VALID

Also “Syncing data with the cloud. Usually, it takes a few seconds.” keeps going on

    Hello @olido.

    Please,
    1) Check whether the Access Key in the plugin settings matches the one in the Cleantalk dashboard (cleantalk.org/my, the Key is located opposite the name of the website).
    2) Check if CURL support and allow_url_fopen (in php.ini) options are available and enabled on your webserver.?
You can ask about this your webmaster or your hosting provider.
    3) Do the following: WordPress Admin Page —> Settings —> Anti-Spam by CleanTalk —> Advanced settings —> set the option “Use WordPress HTTP API” to “On” —> Save Changes.

    Did it help?

No. 1 and 3 are good
No. 2 I’m not sure how to check that setting but I’ve had cleantalk with no issues for over a year and haven’t changed anything in my hosting either so why would it suddenly not work?

The KEY_IS_NOT_VALID message has disappeared now, but “Error occurred while checking account status. cURL error 77” is still there and the syncing wheel is still turning

OK, then you can not check it.

Try to do the opposite: WordPress Admin Page —> Settings —> Anti-Spam by CleanTalk —> Advanced settings —> set the option “Use WordPress HTTP API” to “Off” —> Save Changes.

If that didn’t help, please contact us via our private Ticket System: https://cleantalk.org/my/support/open. We need additional details about your website.
Could you add there a link to this topic, so we can identify you quickly?
