Keyboard bind to play/pause audio

  • Hi there,

    sorry when this question is asked before, I did not found an question like this.

    We use the https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Audio_Shortcode and don’t find a way to make this more excasseble for people with special needs. Every text of our blog is voice recorded. So what we need is a keybind for play/pause the audio.

    Is this possible with wordpress and we didn’t found it or has this to be programmed?

  • You should be able to activate the audio player using standard keyboard navigation: tab to the play/pause control and activate using the enter key.

    Thx for going into this.

    After pressing tab 6-8 times (depends on how many links in the content) the playbutton will be marked. Is there a way to get the player in first place without moving it?
