    Hi,

had an issue with setting up KeyCDN with CDNEnabler within my multisite environment for the secondary site:

Primary Multi Site (DE): https://www.site.de -> [email protected]
Secondary Multi Site (EN): https://www.site.de/en -> [email protected]

    Secondary Multi Site (EN):

Was not able to set up KeyCDN in CDN Enabler as [email protected]/en.
But [email protected]/ worked. (needed to reconfigure this in KeyCDN dashboard and KeyEnabler config)

Also setup Autoptimize (Beta 4) in CDN mode which rewrites the CDN-URL as [email protected]/en/… thus it did not work with the above CDN Enabler config and the site did not load due to the autoptimize css not loading from the configured CDN (which works when loading the autoptimize css directly from the origin server)

I tricked Autoptimize by adding a redundant /wp-content to the URL [email protected] ([email protected]/wp-content) in the Autoptimize config, for an disclosed reason a double /wp-content/wp-content/ instead of en/wp-content/ in the page code now pulls the Autooptimize css from the configured [email protected]/ CDN URL.

The workaround does the job, but do I have worked around a CDNEnabler/KeyCDN misconfiguration or is it rather an Autoptimize config issue or a URL config gap in KeyCDN/CDNEnabler?

    Please share your thoughts.

    Kind regards,
    Oliver

  • You shouldn’t need 2 separate zones in this case as both origin URLs are the same. Have you tried using CDN01.kxcdn.com/en as the CDN URL for your secondary site?
