    Hi,

I am using Yoast with the Avada theme.

I have my focus keyphrase in the first paragraph. Yoast says I do not.

It also says I have multiple H1’s – I do not.

    Any help here is appreciated.

If you are sure that your focus keyphrase is present in the first paragraph and you are still receiving a warning that it is not, this may be due to the content of the page being created outside of the default WordPress editor. Some page builder plugins are not able to share the content created in them with the readability analysis feature of Yoast SEO.

Can you let us know if you are using a pagebuilder plugin such as Visual Composer, Site Origin, Beaver Builder etc to create your page’s content? The SEO and readability analysis feature scan sometimes not work correctly if you are using some kind of visual page builder, as they can cause the page’s content to not be accessible to the plugin due to it being created outside the functions of the standard WordPress page editor.

    Thanks for writing @devnihil.

Currently using Avada theme with Fusion Builder. Since I wrote this – I have read that Avada and the SEO portion of Yoast, aren’t compatible with one another.

I saw Yoast was packaged with Avada as a preferred plugin, so I thought I would try it. I got too far into it before I realized certain parts were not working.

It rankles me that Avada would recommend a plugin the does not work with it. It’s misleading. Someone said “Well, the SEO is only one part of Yoast.” — why on earth would that matter? It’s like to saying “Your brain is only part of your head.”

Sorry for the rant and really appreciate you answering.

We understand your concern. However, it’s really hard to have support for all the 3rd party page builder plugins into the Yoast SEO content analysis section. Yoast SEO is unable to show the correct content analysis for all the page builder plugins.

@mazedulislamkhan – no one is asking Yoast to support everything. I understand Yoast’s point of view.

I just made an association that they would work together since Avada seemingly endorses Yoast in their own theme options. See link:https://imgur.com/a/3SnLCmb

    Make sense?

That’s right, Yoast SEO works with the Fusion page builder that comes with the Avada theme. However, there are still some places where Yoast SEO content analysis fails to detect the content correctly and as such, it may show a false positive report. The content analysis is only a part of the Yoast SEO plugin and there are many other parts of the plugin that works perfectly with the Avada theme.

But as the end user, I expect a car with four wheels, not three. Again, not Yoast’s fault regardless of whet percentage works with Avada. :^D
