Keys stop working in the middle of a post

As I’m typing in the post boxes or any of the plug-ins I’m using, all of a sudden the keyboard will randomly stop working. I’m using my ipad so suspected it might just be the key pad, but it works right now & in all other applications. The same thing happens when I just use the touch screen. I can type a few lines, then that’s it. I’ll save the draft, but have to close out of the application and open it up in a new browser…This hasn’t happened before–is it maybe due to upgrading to 3.5? Thank you so much for any suggestions or help–I am new to wordpress & blogging, but did not find the answer in a search of the forums.
