    Hey there,

Small issue I found. When I have Relevanssi active, the keyword search on the event listings produces no results. event_listing CPT is indexed and events will appear on a normal WordPress search.

Assuming that’s not a quick fix, is there any way to disable the keyword search bar in the meantime?

    Cheers

    Hi @michaelbourne,

Can you please make sure you have some published events on your site? Please provide a URL where we can check the listing.

    Thank you

    Hey @hiteshmakvana

There are indeed published events. As mentioned, a global WordPress search will show events in the results. The issue is limited to the events page where I have your shortcode with filters enabled. There is a “keyword” field there, and typing any words results in a “no events found” message. If I have an event called “Yoga Sunday”, typing yoga into the keywords field shows 0 results.

This is solved as soon as relevanssi is disabled. So I know there is a conflict there. Relevanssi is used to improve the site wide search and organize the results by post type, which is too important for us to remove.

The ticket price search works fine. The date search works fine. The issue seems to be limited to keywords only.

The keyword field is hidden with css since it’s not working, you can unhide in your inspector to test if need be.

    Hi @michaelbourne,

Yes, it is returning 0 results with yoga in keyword fields. It looks like it is theme or any existing plugin conflict. Can you please try to activate the default theme any deactivate all other plugins.

If still facing the issue please let us know.

    Thank you

I’m not sure you’re understanding properly.

The entire point of this thread was to inform you of a plugin conflict. The plugin is called Relevanssi. It has 100k+ active installs, and is frankly the best search plugin available on WordPress.

Your plugin appears to not like Relevanssi.

If I were you, I’d spin up a dev site and figure it out.

    Good luck.
