    Hi,
I would like to report some issues that I’ve found, as well as make a suggestion.

Information: my website is bilingual (Portuguese and English); I use Block Editor; I use Polylang: the posts are linked between the two languages; each language has its own keywords.

    Issues:
No. 1 – I realized that the defined keywords don’t work sometimes. And I found out that if I go to the respective post, introduce again the keyword and save the changes after the message “this keyword already exists”, the keyword will be activated again.
No. 2 – But I also found another issue. Let me try to explain through an example:
In a Portuguese post, I have the keyword “OVO” and in the English Post version I have the same keyword but translated to “EGG”. When for some reason the keyword “OVO” isn’t working, but “EGG” is, I do the procedure referred in No. 1 to activate “OVO”. Then it turns on, but “EGG” becomes turned off. I really don’t understand this.
No. 3 – Another issue: for the keyword “King Pedro IV”, it activates “King Pedro I” instead of “King Pedro IV”.
No. 4 – In new posts the links are still not working immediately after creating a new post, even after the update for version 1.1.5.2

    Suggestion:
It would be very useful if the order of the keywords can be changed by dragging and dropping.

    Thank you!
    Gracinda

    Hi @gracinda

    thanks for getting in touch.

No. 1 – I realized that the defined keywords don’t work sometimes. And I found out that if I go to the respective post, introduce again the keyword and save the changes after the message “this keyword already exists”, the keyword will be activated again.

Unfortunately, I can’t tell you much about this at the moment, because we haven’t investigated the underlying data structure of Polylang yet. I assume that there is a compatibility problem with it. We are already aware of this problem and hopefully, we will be able to fix it in the near future. Currently, we cannot provide support for this third-party plugin.

Same problem as described under #2. Since the keyword editor ensures the configuration based on the posts, it might not be able to handle the modified data structure by Polylang.

No. 3 – Another issue: for the keyword “King Pedro IV”, it activates “King Pedro I” instead of “King Pedro IV”.

I tested it with the two keywords and everything worked as it should. Can you give me a more concrete example of this so I can better understand what might be the problem here?

No. 4 – In new posts the links are still not working immediately after creating a new post, even after the update for version 1.1.5.2

We have already tested this several times before our release.
Which page editor do you use (Gutenberg Editor, Classic Editor, Pagebuilders…)?

    Suggestion:
It would be very useful if the order of the keywords can be changed by dragging and dropping.

Thank you for this input. We have not had this topic on our radar yet. I can imagine that this could be a great advantage for many users. I have put this feature on our backlog and we are hopefully able to implement it soon!

    Hi!

    Thanks for your response.

About No. 3, perhaps the following example can explain it better: In the word “catering” the link “cat” appears. Instead, it should be the link for “catering”. Please verify this.

I really hope that you can solve these issues in order to continue improving your plugin to help users like me.

    Thank you again!
