Kickstarter embed block not working

  • My page has a Kickstarter Embed block. In the editor, after inserting the url for the Kickstarter page I see the correct image of the video, it seems to be working. When I preview or publish the page I just see a dead url on the page, no thumbnail, no link, nothing.

  • What plugin are you using that allows you to use the Kickstart Embed Block?

    I’m not using a plugin, the Kickstarter Embed Block is native in the current version of WordPress, it’s in the Embeds group of blocks

    I guess I’m not as familiar with Gutenberg as I thought I was! It looks like the embed is just looking for the base URL so by adding /description/ to the URL breaks the embed. Try just using the bare minimum URL.
