Kill the yellow "Post updated" banner

When I save my post, the yellow banner appears at the top that says “Post updated. View post.” But there’s no way to get rid of it. Even refreshing the page doesn’t work.

Please, please give us a “close” button or, ideally, hide the notification automatically after a few seconds.
