• Be very, VERY careful with this plugin. It got my years-old merchant account on Pinterest disabled almost immediately after it connected, and now I can’t remove the product feed to appeal it.

Until I can get this cancerous plugin excised from my Pinterest account, I’m not going to risk wasting one of only 2 precious appeals to get my store back.

I ran my own XML product feeds, with thousands of products for YEARS without problem, and this plugin destroyed all of that in hours (or less).

This needs to be removed from the repository, or at least have about 30 levels of warnings that it could destroy YEARS of hard-won reputation in your Pinterest account.

    Hey @mugwumpr ,

    Sorry to hear about that!

Is possible to know the issue that cause the immediate account disabled?

Usually Pinterest give some time to resolve the issues with the accounts. If you want, you can give us the url of the site where the plugin was installed and we can reach out Pinterest development team so we can try to fix the problem.

    Let us know.
    Best,
    Christian

    Hi Christian,

    Thanks for your reply.

I received no notification or warning at all from Pinterest. I simply signed in a day or so after activating the plugin to find ALL my catalogue feeds disabled. The reason in my Catalogue page is given as “Merchant’s product descriptions and categories do not meet requirements”, but that’s all I have.

    The URL is https://dobrador.com.

Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you, @christian1983,

I truly appreciate you getting my account re-approved.

(I don’t suppose you could get them to solve the problem with their Pinterestbots DDoSing my website on a regular basis, too, eh? ?? Kidding! Well, about asking you to do that, at least. Their bots really do reduce my website to smoking rubble on a regular basis with hundreds of hits per second.)
