Kinda worthless as a widget

  • I needed a testimonial rotator to be used in a sidebar, so as a widget.

    I was already using Flexi Quote Rotator, but all the customizations i do to that are reset each time i update it, so i was looking for a replacement.

    Well this plugin ain’t it.

    – There are no options to change the text size or how the widget looks (other than customs CSS coding perhaps)
    – If you add a title to the widget it shows up in the widget, with no options to hide it, so now i have 5 testimonials with absolutely no way of telling which is which seeing as i had to delete the titles.
    – the widget height is determined by the biggest testimonial (if you use it in Full view mode) and does not automatically resize.

  • A quick note to say that it is possible to remove the title display for your testimonials. I asked Hal about it today and he sent me some very simple code to place at the very bottom of the style.css:

    .testimonial_rotator_widget cite { display: none !important;}

    It worked like a charm and Hal was so patient to help me get it right.

    This plugin and its author rock.
