• Hi

It is so that I help a relative with putting up a website with a web shop. It works fine. But there is one feature I wonder if it is possible to get in the WooCommerce

If I have a product in the shape of kit. Can I get in the WooCommerce a number of products added to the cart automatically, and then if I eg would have a choice where I resize a progdukt so it automatically adds the correct number of accessory products.

    For example

If I have a yarn store. There are products in the form of kits with different patterns. I want when selecting add to cart so, all kinds of colors and the number of yarn needed for a certain size examples (small medium and large)

So when you change the size from small to large, the number of yarns needed to do the larger size change in the shopping cart automatically.

Here is an example of a website that has the function I ask for.

Site name is Bergere De France

    https://www.bergeredefrance.com/patterns/by-magazine/mag-184-spring-summer-collection-2016/mag-184-02-crop-top-1.html

Here is the function I want my relative’s website too.

If you click on the buttons to resize, change also the number of yarns and the total price for the pattern including yarns.

Can you do this type of operation with the help of a few out of your plugins.

If it can do, what plugin is it I need and what they cost.

I have to me that they have already purchased the plugin Product Bundles.

With my knowledge I think they also need the plugin Force Sell. Is this true?

    Grateful for answers.

    Sincerely

    Mathias

It won’t be automatic, but doesn’t ‘bundles’ already do this? I.e. you have a small, medium and large bundle with all the needed parts in it?

The idea is that customers, when they choose a pattern, for example. Then they will not have to figure out for themselves how many yarn of every color they need, depending on what size they choose.

Hmm ok. I don’t know if something exists for that. Sounds like you’d need to store extra data per ‘pattern’ about how much yarn is needed, and then calculated whats required from that (either displaying or auto adding to cart).

    I don’t think there is a pre-made solution.
