Klaviyo segment

  • Hi, my client’s situation is this: a single list in Klaviyo, divided into different segments. I would like that when a user fills out the form, based on the page from which they fill it out, the user’s email ends up in a segment of my choice. So, I create different forms, one for each page, and in the plugin settings, I always enter the same list ID where I want the user to end up. However, it would also be helpful to have another field in the settings where I can enter the segment ID for each different form based on where I want the user to end up. Currently, it’s not working correctly. Contacts end up in the right list, but only some enter the segment, and it takes a long time before I can see them on Klaviyo. Therefore, is it possible to have an addition to the plugin where, similar to the list ID, I can input the segment ID for each form?

    Hi @baldoz, sorry for this. But i’m not really clear about your require.

    You want to have the option allow you to add the “segment ID” so viewer – who submit the form will go into the particular segment that you want right?!

    Hi @baldoz, firstly i think you can take a look on this video to more understand the way how segment work.

    Basically, segment will don’t have the API call to put a profile direct into it. So i tried a tricky way – i add a custom property call “segment_id” seeting to the form. And set the Klaviyo Segment condition to profiles that have this property.

    The problem is, this will not automatic – because Klaviyo segment will only scan profiles for these conditions only when the segment is created and when you change the condition settings. Mean you need to change the condition settings to force Klaviyo rescan profiles to add new profile.

    I’m trying other solutions and other approaches. And will release a new update when done.
