Hallo Tobias!

Ich habe ein kleines Problem mit dem Plugin.
Es funktioniert einwandfrei, Aber das Plugin broken-link-checker meckert herum.
In einer Tabelle habe ich eine Bild-URL eingegeben:

<img src=’https://xxxxxxxx.de/media/gallery/jung-dynamisch/thumbs/thumbs_0014.jpg’ alt=’0014′ class=’ngg-singlepic ngg-none’ />

Es wird alles richtig angezeigt. Aber das Plugin broken-link-checker meckert herum.
Server nicht gefunden
Und die angezeigte URL ist:
http:\/\/xxxxxxxx.de\/media\/gallery\/jung-dynamisch\/thumbs\/thumbs_0014.jpg

Vielleicht kannst Du mir helfen?

Grü?e

Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble, as well as for the late answer. As I was on vacation, I didn’t have a chance to reply earlier.
Also, as these are the English-language forums, I’ll reply in English, I hope that’s ok.

The reason for this is that TablePress stores the tables as JSON encoded strings (using a “Custom Post Type” in the “wp_posts” table in the database). This adds the extra backslashes \ which are necessary for encoding control characters in JSON.

Unfortunately, I don’t really see what we could do here — unless Broken Link checker could parse JSON as well.

Regards,
Tobias

Hi,

sounds good! If there’s anything else where I can help with, please let me know!

Best wishes,
Tobias

P.S.: In case you haven’t, please rate TablePress here in the plugin directory. Thanks!

Hopefully he finds the error. Fake error messages only confuse.
Thanks again for your help

Hi,

yeah, I totally understand what you mean. It should not be too hard for the developer to also support JSON.

Regards,
Tobias
