KML iconstyle scale tag has no effect

I’m successfully using a KML file using WP Flexible Maps on this page: https://tdr-guebwiller.eu/plan-dacces/

I’d like to make one of the icons bigger. I tried this code:

<Style id="MaisonDuTissage">
			<IconStyle>
				<scale>2</scale>
				<Icon><href>https://maps.google.com/mapfiles/kml/shapes/church.png</href></Icon>
			</IconStyle>
		</Style>

But it didn’t seem to have any effect – everything stays at a scale of 32×32. Any clues of what to do differently?

By the way, my header looks like this:
