Knowledge required to use wordpress?

  • I’m a web designer who know XHTML, CSS and Basic graphic editing. Are those skills enough in order for me to use WordPress. Do i need to be a PHP whiz?

    If my skills are lacking, please advise on what i need to acquire before i pursue my dream of using wordpress.

  • If you just want to blog… you don’t need anything (beside good writing skills:)

    If you want to tweak WP themes, then XHTML and CSS should be enough – all the “PHP” is to be able to copy/paste the Template_Tags that display most of the data in WP.
