Known Plugin ISSUE with WordPress?

It’s been relatively quiet in the meta channel on Slack lately, but that may be simply because the people there are busy with other things.

You might create a Slack account yourself and go and ask.

Two channels will be of particular interest to you: “meta” deals with all technical stuff going on inside wordpress-org.
And ”theme-review” deals with, yes, reviewing plugins, once you’ve managed to submit it. (There’s also a special e-mail address for the same team, but you already know that…)

Normally that error means that your site/server is blocking the connection to the www.ads-software.com server that’s used to check for updates or install new plugins. that’s something that you need to talk to your hosting company about.

The quick, day-to-day communication around running www.ads-software.com, developing WordPress, checking submitted plugins, etc, happens in an application called Slack.
In Slack, you could just ask in the channel #meta if there currently seems to be any problem with the submission of plugins for review, for example.
In addition, there’s another channel for plugin-review, too, where one sometimes might informally sort out things quicker.

… Oh. I just realized I misunderstood you totally. I was thinking you’ve developed a plugin and are trying to submit it for review… Maybe next year… ??
